The new board of directors met this past Saturday. During this transition meeting the new officers were given their roles for 2012. The national conference was discussed and is being planned. Walk And Roll 2011 and Updates – Louisville, KY

Today, several state KANS board members participated in the 2011 Walk and Roll in Louisville, KY. They raised $150!!! Way to go!!!

2011 State Conference planning is well underway. This conference is sure to be a success, and we are looking forward to it! Online registration is available, visit the conference tab for more information.

I know it seems early, but if you are interested in running for a state office at the conference, start thinking about it now. Prepare campaign items to bring with you to conference (posters, table cards, etc…)

There are also scholarships available, as well. Forms will be available in the conference packet, which will available soon.

The theme for this years conference is Strategies for Success! It will held at the Center for Courageous Kids in Scottsville, KY on October 21-22,2011. Check the conference tab for online registration.

We are so excited about this years conference, come ready to learn strategies for success in nursing school, and in your nursing career. It is sure to be a great experience for 1st semester nursing to graduating nursing students, and beyond!!!

This packet includes all information related to the 2010 annual conference, registration, lodging, schedule, scholarships, elections, and more. KANS just arrived in Orlando, FL for the 2010 NSNA National Convention! We are excited to be here on behalf of Kentucky’s nursing students!
